Are crocodile geckos desert or tropical?

Crocodile geckos come from a desert/rocky region from the Mediterranean. Their day time temp should be 75-85 degrees and at night 70-75 degrees. Because they are diurnal you will also need a UVB strip light. For a baskin you shoud get a UTH (which I recommend) or a basking light with a low wattage light bulb.
