Need help with this poem?

AB Paterson wrote many poems celebrating the life in the Australian outback and this is one of them. He writes to his droving mate Clancy and is amused by the reply one of Clancy's mates sends back to him. This allows him to compare the life of an office book keeper with that of the drover. He fantasises about the freedom of Clancy's life but in fact he does not consider the hardship of such an existence....his is but a daydream of being elsewhere.
