Heart problems?

About 23yrs ago I had surgery to repair a mitral valve.It was a success,but my heart has been in Atrial Fibulation ever since.I am now on three different medications because of this including warferin.Whenever I go to hospital my heart problems always seems to become a bigger issue then the original reason .Does anyone else have this problem?I am only in my 40s and dont know anyone else my age with heart problems.
