Mafia 2 bug when in loading screens? (Xbox 360)?

Whenever I'm in a loading screen after giving money Bruno, the loading screen appears and doesn't go away. Every time this happens, I end up having to turn off my Xbox. The disc for Mafia 2 was received on release date, and is still flawless without even finger prints on it. Does this occur with anyone else?
