Why do fundamentalist evangelicals find it easier to love murderers and rapists than s?

I've worked in the prison system for 7 years. Before that, I accompanied volunteers on their prison ministries to observe. I've noticed that many hard core fundamentalists show a lot of love to violent offenders who have harmed other people, which I do not disagree with. However, they show none whatsoever for uals, s, and ed individuals who have harmed no one. Why is this?
