Potpourri as insect repellent?

I'm going on a camping trip in a few weeks and I'd like to hang a couple of little sachets of potpourri around our campsite to deter insects, mostly flies and mosquitos. Obviously since we are camping, we cant do live plants, and I'd rather stay away from having to make any sorts of sprays and such, so what are some good plants that I can find easily to dry that will have the same effect? I'm open to both products that I can purchase outright or different plants that I can pick up at a home improvement store and dry myself.
