OMG MY EAR HURTS!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!! ):O?

so i had a cold for 4 days. it was just a sore throat and i was very congested. i had a terrible sinus headache for at least a full day. yesterday i woke up with an earache (great!) . today i can't even hear out of it. its not just sinus pressure (like my mom says, im 13) it REALLY hurts and it sounds like i have water stuck in my ear plus the pain. is it an infection or just pressure (like i doubt)? so anyway i was cleaning my ears (before anyone asks me... no i don't clean the inside smart'es) squooz my language but i noticed that the inside of the ear is tender and very swollen compared to my other ear. it sucks and we have no health insurances so it will be awhile until i go to the doctor and my mother will probably wait a billion years until she takes me so she can save money. so what is it? and is there anyway to relieve pain (other than ibuprofen and other stuff like that) because its not working very well and i don't want to O.D on ibuprofen so i want to get it from the source of my pain so what helps an earache????????? OUCH IT HURTS!!!!
