Is this the most ignorant statement you ever heard?

Ive moved to Canada from Ireland a few months ago and while staying in a hostel this Irish guy, who in fairness is not the sharpest tool in the box, and hes an too by the way, said this. 'I wouldnt throw litter on the street here cos nobody else does it, but I would back in Ireland' I mean ive heard some ignorant statements in my life, but this is up there and one that has stuck with me. Im not surprised that hes Irish saying this cos most of my fellow country men are absolute heads, but im just shocked at the sheer IGNORANCE of it!! I mean, what sort of a thing is that to say??
