Help with 5 year old son with autism?

I have a 5 year old son who has mild autism and he doesn't really talk that much.Not like others his age. He is a big fan of music. I let him listen to whatever he likes. This has caused problems for me because others in my family believe that I should be more concerned over the type of music he listens too. I've tried to get him to listen to children songs ,but he just covers his ears and cries. He is a big fan of such bans as Korn, Icp, Angie Aparo, Pink and a lot of songs on the radio. And to hear him singing fills me with such joy . There are many songs that contain words and themes that are not good for little ones what should I do should I take his music from him because it's not age suited or should I tell my family to shove off he's my child and I doing what I feel is best for him.I love him and I fear that music may be my only way to get into his world ,or to bring him into mine .What should I do
