Friend betrayals at work?

i worked with some of these people for a number of years. One of the girls got fired for falsifying work information. She was also quite the backstabber and was very sweet when she wanted something and then when she didn't need you anymore then she was done with you. I heard that another friend from this office and her were in friendly communication. I asked her how she could ociate with someone that behaved that way and treated people like that. She told me that it had nothing to do with her because she felt that this person never betrayed her. So my question is...as long as someone doesn't screw you over but you know they have screwed your friends over would you have anything to do with them. My microphone isn't picking up any noise,how can I resolve this?

Well, as the question states, my microphone isn't picking up any sound at all. I am quite sure I have the plugs plugged into the correct drivers (It's a dual-jack headset microphone-Two plugs,Green and Pink). I tried altering the voice recognition or recording but it just shows my own sound system which is the "Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit", and not any other system. Also, my microphone is selected in the Volume Control properties for recording. I am using Windows XP. I'm wondering if or how I can fix this without getting a new computer or something. Scarlet fever delaying period?

My doctor THINKS I have scarlet fever. My period was due on 03/16 (6 days late). Can scarlet fever make my period this late? I have no cramps like I usually do a week before. I had very slight ones barely noticeable for 3 days last week, and sore that went away today. My sore s usually stay until the end of my period. What does the allergic to everything vegan eat?

I have been working at an organic food co-op at my university and some of our customers are vegan and have allergies, more than you mentioned such as being allergic to fructose which means they can't eat tomato and onion, some can't eat garlic either. We can make foods which do not contain those ingredients, we have a baker who makes gluten free vegan cakes using rice flower and almond meal. But yeah, anybody allergic to nuts, grains and legumes is going to have a hard time as a vegan. But if they made all their own food they could manage it.

It depends where you dump it and how much of it you dump. Usually, a few thousand barrels of oil dumped in the ocean would cause water contamination. I have never heard of sinkholes appearing from dumping oil. I have heard that in sandy area, during an earthquake, the ground liquefies.

Heart problems?

What your probably looking at is something called deffered adjudication. Heres whats most likely going to happen. If you plead guilty, which I suggest to do if you really were at fault and the police have a open and shut case the judge will probably issue you a fine, you will placed on some type of community service, or probation, and will have to take an alchol awareness course. Now considering you do all these things once thats complete the charge will be dropped. Thats what deffered adjudication is. It means a judge will suspend the charge if all his requirements are met. Now if you slip up once then your pretty much at the mercy of the court. Hope this helps.

Is my rental agreement broken?

I recently had my first daughter and I've been wanting to move to a new apartment because my current place is now getting a little too expensive with the new baby. It was out for at LEAST two weeks, and for 3 or 4 of those days we had NO water at all. I was under the impression that the owners were required to supply utilities and if they need to be fixed it would have to be done in a timely manner, especially in this case for sanitation reasons. Would I be right to ask for a termination of the lease with no termination fee? Are there laws in place regaring situations such as this? White patches/bumps on my top lip?

I just noticed i have these tiny, tiny flat white spots on my upper lip. They are the size of a pin needle tip. Why is it with everyone "going green" I cannot find a good clothespin bag for hanging out laundry?

I live in a small town, grew up hanging out clothes (even in winter). My dryer recently died and I was without one for a month, with 4 kids. So I was literally hanging out all the clothes. I don't really mind hanging out clothes but cannot find a large, durable, clothespin bag. The one I have from Wal-mart, the only store in our area that even carries them, is made out of this weird mesh type fabric and ends up ripping. I don't leave the bag out in the weather either. K-mart and Martha Stewart doesn't have them, nor does anyone else. If you get a young store sales person, they don't even act like they know what I am talking about. You would just think with everyone wanting everyone else to go green and conserve energy that you could find a clothespin bag!

Is the evangelical movement just a fad? or do you think it will stick around?

a couple of my friends go to modern evangelical churches. and i want to get peoples opinions. if they think this will be a long term movement or will it eventually fade out?

I rescued this cat from a shelter when he was a small kitten, that is why he was not neutered. He literally sits on hind-end and will "hump" my female that has had a hysterectomy. He will follow me all around the house. Once he tried the sitting thing on my shoulder while he was on back of couch behind me. He does the cat night time "talking" and will not stop till he hears my voice. He even jumps in the shower when I am in there. It is starting to make me not want to be as close to him as I once were. I had all the patience in the world until I seen him, which I thought he was a pile of shoes, then I got up and looked, and he was pissing! When I grabbed him to put him out (hes usually inside 99% of time) he continued to pee mid-air till he was out. Not only is the smell TERRIBLE (on wood floors at that), but I am considering finding him a new home after all the incidents that have happened lately. He is litter tained, and there is rarely a mess in the box which would normally make him detour to the shoes. Please someone help me! He is orange striped with cheetah spots on chest and sides. Very loveable, and I really do not want to give up on thim.

I have a 5 year old son who has mild autism and he doesn't really talk that much.Not like others his age. He is a big fan of music. I let him listen to whatever he likes. This has caused problems for me because others in my family believe that I should be more concerned over the type of music he listens too. Need help with a water problem?

The problem is water condensating on the ceilings of first and second story and dripping onto the floor. We checked the roof, there's no leaks, we also checked the attic floor directly above where the form condensates and the backside of the sheetrock is dry, so the water is condensing on the other side from somewhere else, anybody know how this happens and what to do to fix it?

I love to read but I've been very busy lately, and have not found a good new book in a while. I'm an 18 year old girl, but I love a wide variety of books. Change FedEx Delivery Address?

I sent back a computer that wasn't working and they're now shipping me a new one. I got the confirmation email that it's been shipped and everything but the problem is that the address that it's being shipped to has a typo in it. Everything else in the address is correct, but the street name is missing a letter. Will FedEx be smart enough to ume that the correct address is has a another letter, and send that to me or will they "try" to deliver it and then send me another email that it couldn't be sent? On FedEx tracking, it says that the scheduled delivery is tomorrow. Should I count on it being delivered tomorrow, or would they have to "retry delivery" or something?

so at my barn the head trainer wants everyone safe and not to go out on trails unless approved by her. i say thats fine but the only way im goin on trails is if i can prove to her i can handle my horse. now i've been in shows and i'm a good rider in the arena but when it comes to riding in the fields my horse gets completely jumpy and goes faster. i round his neck and do dressage out there so he'll feel comfortable but the second i let my guard down....off he goes. to try and keep him under control i also make him go but as soon as he gets crazy i stop him and disengage his hindquaters. it works but then it wont. my trainer(cindy) said she will help me and all but i woluld like some other advice.... summer is coming up and i dont want to be confided at the barn. any ideas?

So me and my girl have been together for over a year now and everything started out right and I was very happy. If I have my sim card in a motorola v197, at&t is able to tell that i am making calls using a motorola v197. If i have my sim card in a Blackberry curve, AT&T is able to tell im making calls with a blackberry curve. How are they able to do this? The reason why I want to know this is because AT&T charges more for their unlimited data plan if you use a PDA phone, which I think is sleazy. Is it ok to let my 15-month old "cry it out" in his crib at night?

My son and I had a bed time routine that used to work, up until about a couple of weeks ago. After he ate dinner I would play with him, then I would give him a bath, then let him play for another 10 minutes or so, read our usual bedtime story, and then I would turn his music on and put him in his crib and then after about 10 minutes of him talking to himself, he would fall asleep, with no problems. It used to be so easy for him to fall asleep in his crib. He would be so tired after a long day of playing at day care that he would reach for the crib almost immediately. But for some reason now, when we do the same routine, he will stand up in his crib and throw his pacifier on the floor and just cry. I do not know why his behavior has suddenly changed. It breaks my heart to hear him in there crying, and my husband insists that we should "let him cry it out" until he falls alseep. I am having a really hard time doing this. I know at 15-months he knows what he is doing, and by throwing his pacifier out of the crib and crying, he may just be testing me to see how or if I will respond. Last night he cried for about 15-20 minutes before falling alseep. Like I said, it just breaks my heart to listen to him cry. But I also feel like if I keep going in there, just to take him to our bed to fall asleep, then back to his crib, he will get used to that each night and expect it each night. I put him to bed around 7:45-8:00. Could it be that he's just not tired at that time? He takes about 1 1/2 hour-2 hour nap at day care after lunch time, so he is getting rest at school, and I know that if he gets TOO tired it's also going to be hard for him to fall asleep. He is just now getting over an ear infection, so that also might be part of it. I just don't know if it's good to let him cry it out and fall asleep or helping him fall asleep by either rocking him or lying down with him. Any advice would be great.

One month ago, I met someone that I really like through my close circle of friends. I was invited by my guy friend to spend a week long trip in the countryside with him and his friend. It was strictly platonic. During this trip and I will say it was one of the best vacations of all time - upon leaving I realized I started taking a genuine liking to one of the guys whom I spent more quality time with. Upon arriving home, I started talking to this guy (we live in the same city) and its been close to a month now of non-stop texting. We have also hung out twice, making out seriously both times and cuddling well into the next, late afternoon. He is very affectionate, holding me throughout the night and I have no question when I am with him, that we clearly like each other a lot. What perplexes me the most however, is his communication skills and frankly, he doesn't pursue me the way I am use to. This could be a positive thing in the long run. He is confident, but is know for being shy with girls. Also, let it be known that he smokes tons of weed. He hasn't called me yet, he is an insistent texter and it has been 13 days since I last saw him, although we talk everyday. He did ask if I wanted to hang out a few days ago but then dropped the ball. Everyone is different and everyone has something to work on or improve. To me the important qualities are in place enough for me to get to know him better - I just get stumped along the way in the beginning and maintaining my cool.
